Acceptable Use Policy
Last Updated: September 29, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses BATCH — members, Batchmakers, and visitors to our website. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Breaking these rules can cost you your account, and in serious cases we will report you to law enforcement.
1. Zero tolerance
The following are prohibited absolutely. There is no warning, no appeal window, and no second account:
- Human trafficking of any kind, including sex trafficking, labour trafficking, and the recruitment, transport, harbouring or solicitation of any person for exploitation.
- Sexual exploitation, including commercial sexual services, escorting, prostitution, and any attempt to advertise, arrange or pay for sexual activity.
- Any sexual content involving a minor, and any attempt to contact, groom, lure or solicit a person under 18. BATCH is an 18+ service. Reports are referred to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement.
- Aiding, abetting, facilitating or encouraging abuse, exploitation, violence, coercion or self-harm — whether aimed at another user, a Batchmaker, or anyone outside the Service.
- Coercion or grooming, including pressuring, deceiving, blackmailing or manipulating any person into sexual, financial or exploitative activity.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, including sharing, threatening to share, or soliciting intimate images of any person without their consent.
2. How you treat people
- No harassment, stalking, intimidation, or continuing to contact someone after they have disengaged.
- No threats of violence, and no glorifying or inciting violence.
- No hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
- No encouraging self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating.
- No sharing another person’s private information — address, workplace, phone number, photographs — without their consent.
3. Who you say you are
- One account per person. You must be at least 18.
- No impersonation, catfishing, borrowed photographs, or false details about your age, identity or relationship status.
- No accounts for anyone other than yourself, and no selling, renting or transferring an account.
- No creating a new account to evade a ban or a block.
4. What you post
- No pornographic or sexually explicit imagery, and no nudity in profile photos.
- No content depicting violence, gore, animal cruelty, or illegal activity.
- No content you do not have the right to use.
- Date ideas submitted to the Service must describe real, lawful, publicly accessible places. No private residences, and no venues you do not have permission to name.
5. Commercial and illegal use
- No advertising, promotion, recruiting, multi-level marketing, or driving traffic to another service.
- No soliciting money, gifts, cryptocurrency, investments or financial information from other users. Romance fraud is reported to law enforcement.
- No buying or selling drugs, weapons, counterfeit goods, stolen data, or any other unlawful item.
- No use of the Service for any purpose that is unlawful where you are or where the other person is.
6. The platform itself
- No scraping, crawling, bulk downloading, or harvesting profiles, photographs or messages.
- No bots, automation, or artificial inflation of matches, points, ratings or leaderboard standing.
- No reverse engineering, probing for vulnerabilities, or interfering with the operation of the Service.
- No uploading malware, or using the Service to distribute it.
7. Conduct away from the app
BATCH exists to introduce people who then meet in person. Conduct that happens off the Service — on a date, in a message on another platform, or afterwards — can still cost you your account where it indicates you are a danger to other members.
8. Enforcement
Depending on what you did and whether you have done it before, we may remove content, limit your features, suspend your account, permanently ban you, or decline to return any unused portion of a subscription. Conduct described in Section 1 results in an immediate permanent ban. We preserve and disclose records to law enforcement where the law requires it or where we believe someone is in danger — see our Law Enforcement Guidelines.
9. Reporting
Every profile and every conversation in the app carries Report and Block. Blocking is immediate and mutual. You can also write to support@batch.site. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
